Since its release, the series has received critical acclaim and won multiple awards, including the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program for both volumes. The first two seasons of Clone Wars, released on DVD as "Volume One", were produced in episodes ranging from two to three minutes, while the third season consisted of five 12-minute episodes comprising "Volume Two". The series aired on Cartoon Network for three seasons consisting of 25 episodes altogether from 2003 to 2005, and was the first Star Wars television series since Ewoks (1985–1986). ![]() Often described as 2D animation, the motion of the spaceships was computer enhanced 3D animation, as mentioned in the feature, "Bridging the Saga", on the DVD. The show follows the actions of various prequel trilogy characters, notably Jedi and clone troopers, in their war against the droid armies of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Sith. Produced, released and set between the Star Wars prequel trilogy films Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, it is amongst the first of many works to explore the conflict known as the Clone Wars. It's also chock-full of after-market modifications, and these modifications have a tendency to completely fail at inopportune moments.Star Wars: Clone Wars is an American animated television micro-series set in the Star Wars Legends universe and developed and drawn by Genndy Tartakovsky. It is a lumbering hunk of junk with a lot of surface area to hit. Weaknesses: Although the Millennium Falcon is typically piloted by expert fliers, its weaknesses are rarely shown. The turret system requires a second person to operate, but it does allow for 360 degrees of damage. ![]() The Millennium Falcon may be huge, but it can hold its own in a dogfight, as well. As savvy fans know, parsecs are units of measurement, and the special thing about the Falcon isn't its speed (though it is equipped with a faster than normal hyperdrive) - it's its navigational computer. Han Solo likes to brag that it's the fastest ship in the galaxy and that it completed the Kessel run in 10 parsecs. Strengths: As a smuggling ship, the Falcon features plenty of compartments to hide whatever illicit goods its owners might want to clandestinely transport across the galaxy. The Falcon played a key role in the destruction of both the first and second Death Star. Originally flown by Lando Calrissian, it gained notoriety in the hands of Han Solo and his hairy co-pilot Chewbacca. Who Flies It: The Millennium Falcon is the most famous hunk o' junk in the galaxy.
